Glowing Heart and Bethany Baptist...

Glowing Heart had the opportunity to lead worship for Bethany Baptist Church in Pleasant Grove, Dallas, TX on January 20, 2008. It was a great opportunity that the group enjoyed immensely. I had the opportunity to preach there and it was a great experience. The body at Bethany is very warm and compassionate. I deeply appreciated the opportunity they extended me to preach there. As I continue to preach the Lord graciously teaches me things about myself and my preaching style. I learned a great deal from my sermon at Bethany. I hope the Lord will continue to mold and shape me into the preacher he has called me to be. I also hope and pray that the Lord will continue to work in might ways at Bethany. I pray that as they seek after the Lord, lives will be changed and men will be saved.

sleepy baby...

Have you ever seen anything more beautiful than a sleeping baby. There is such a look of peace and tranquility. This peace is lost the first time we sin. The Bible teaches that we are at enmity with God. Thankfully, God has afforded each person the opportunity to have this peace again. When we accept Christ as our Savior, we are then at peace with God because Jesus has made the sacrifice on our behalf...isn't the Lord glorious?

Previous post...

Disclaimer: the previous post is neither an endorsement or criticism of Benny Hinn or spiritual gifts in general. I thought it was really creative and funny so I posted it. I hope everyone enjoys it in the spirit with which it was intended.
If you have ever experienced being "slain in the spirit", please respond and share your experience.
As always...keep Christ first.

Root Canal anyone...

Yesterday was a crazy day! I have been going to the Baylor College of Dentistry to address some dental issues which I have neglected in the past. They contacted me on Monday to remind me of an appointment at 1pm.
When I arrived, I was reminded that I had a root canal scheduled!
It was surprisingly painless. The two most painful things were the initial anesthetic (the HUGE needle) and my jaw muscles from my mouth being open so long.
Oh well, it had to be done and I still need to get the buildup and crown. Send donations for the Jeff Campbell Dental Fund to....(just kidding)
I hope you are having a great day in the Lord.
Blessings,
Pastor Jeff

Broken...but not in a good way...

Well, here is a first. I stubbed my toe this morning hard enough to break it. I have stubbed my toe before but never have broken one. It isn't really painful but it is aggravating. Maybe I can use it for a sermon illustration, hmmm....
Blessings to you and yours,
Pastor Jeff

Mike Huckabee (or Huckaboo as my wife and I affectionately refer to him) is really beginning to shine. Watch the clips below and see what you think...

Breakfast with Steve and Ray

Having breakfast this morning with two good friends of mine. Steve is the pastor of Cottonwood Baptist Church in Rosser and Ray is the VP of missions for Ambassador International Ministries. I enjoy having these times of refreshment. It is a wonderful reprieve from the hectic days. Hope you are having a wonderful day in the Lord!
God bless you...

Mobile blogger...

This is my first blog posted from my Centro. My hope is to be able to post more often and in real time.
For instance, perhaps I will be having coffee one day and have the opportunity to share the Gospel with someone and they will accept Christ right then and there, I could post that and you could rejoice with me! Wouldn't that be awesome!!!
Yes it would.
Blessings to you.
Pastor Jeff.
