Day 1 of the RESURRECTION celebration!

Last night was the first night of our RESURRECTION celebration! It was a wonderful time of fellowship and we had a great time.

The music was perfect (thanks Illya!) and the preaching was powerful.

Ed Ethridge from the North Texas Baptist Area was here to bring the Word to us. He preached on Matthew 21:12-17 where Jesus cleanses the temple. This happened on Monday the week before the resurrection. Ed talked to us about living lives of purity, living in power, and living to give praise.

We had a wonderful worship time together as we focused on this event in the life of Christ which happened on Monday of Passion Week. More to come…..I will give an update of each day.

Easter Celebration...

We had a great time today as we celebrated the Resurrection of Jesus. We had 2 bounce houses, games, food, crafts, and watched a video presentation about the Easter Story after which I shared the Gospel with all those in attendance. About 50 children and their parents and other siblings were there and it was our honor to have them. Thanks to all the Bethany folks who pitched in to make it a success especially Mari for organizing it.
